"Haruka Ten'ou is a pretty cool guy... for a girl. See, she's
got this habit of dressing like a man, even wearing a boy's school uniform, and when we first met her, some of
us got a little mixed up. You'd better believe she had fun teasing us about it, too, especially since a few
of the other Senshi thought she was a pretty cute boy... Haruka used to go to Mugen Gakuen High
School, a special academy that kind of wound up getting blown to bits during one of our battles... Err,
but you know what they say about omlettes and eggs, right? Anyway, she and her girlfriend Michiru attend
Juuban High with the rest of us, now. Back when the Outer Senshi first showed up, Haruka and
her partner Michiru seemed kind of mean, and for a while, we even thought they might be our enemies, but
that's all been cleared up, now. I mean, we may not exactly be the best of friends, or anything, but she's
helped us out before, and she's actually pretty nice, when you get to know her."

As Sailor Uranus, Haruka is among the
most powerful of the Senshi. Her powers seem to be linked to the earth, and she has been able
to cause earthquakes, as well as generate attacks of concussive force. She is the tallest of
any of the Senshi, as well. The main weapon of Sailor Uranus is the Uranus Space Sword,
a short sword which is one of three mystic talismans capable of summoning the Holy Grail.
In addition to being a skilled swordswoman, Haruka can use the blade to perform one of her
most lethal attacks, the Uranus Space Sword Blaster. She is also fairly good at
unarmed combat.

Haruka Ten'ou is the Sailor Senshi of the planet Uranus. In Roman
mythology, Uranus was the god of the sky, the father of Saturn, and ruler over all other gods and titans. Haruka
lives in a large house with her lover, Michiru Kaioh, their adopted daughter Hotaru Tomoe, and teammate Setsuna
Meioh. An intense woman by nature, Haruka seems to feel her emotions very deeply, which can make her prone to drastic
actions and behaviour. In addition to her many other skills, Haruka is an accomplished pianist, and occasionally
plays duets with her teammate, Sailor Neptune.
